Public meetings are great In our society we are in a constant war – a war of ideas. Democracy is a never ending battle of ideas. It is messy. It is loud. It’s dangerous, pointy and sharp. It is never settled. If we don’t revel in that, if we don’t take on some risk with courage, we give up our sovereignty as citizens.
